Review highlights
Based on 1,923 reviewsĐAO XANH QUAN - ĐA NANG is widely recognized for its fresh, affordable seafood and a diverse menu that includes Chinese cuisine, appealing to a broad range of diners. The restaurant's welcoming staff, with some able to communicate fluently in Chinese, enhances the dining experience, especially for international visitors. Customers appreciate the air-conditioned areas, which provide comfort from the local heat, and the late operating hours that cater to late-night guests. While the food quality is generally praised, service experiences can be inconsistent, with some reports of slow or uneven service during busier times. Overall, the restaurant is valued for its flavorful dishes, reasonable prices, and accommodating atmosphere, though service speed may vary depending on demand.
Very affordable and fresh seafood that was also well prepared. There is a waiter that was super helpful and could speak fluent Chinese. They also have a good selection of Chinese cuisine. One side of the restaurant was air-conditioned which was great for escaping the Da Nang heat.
I walked by this place yesterday and after dinner and wanted to have a look around. The receptionist Mimi was very welcoming and introduced their seafood. The next night I came back and Mimi remembered me. I ordered 12 shrimp 2 different style (garlic butter and grilled). The garlic butter was a bit sweet which was not to my liking but my husband loved it. The grilled shrimp was really good pairing with their homemade chili lemon sauce. And they even peeled the shrimp for you. I also ordered the chili clam which was my favorite dish of the night. We Also ordered oyster which was very fresh. The experience and food is great and I would definitely come back again!
First time eating lunch in Vietnam with my family. Nice and perfect restaurant. Worth trying. The young guy gave us a better suggestion on food, which was really helpful.
The seafood is delicious and surprisingly affordable. The service is a bit slow, but it's acceptable. It’s not easy to find places open late at night in Da Nang, but this restaurant stays open until 3:30 a.m.
Very mixed feelings about this place. We have been there two evenings in a row. The first time the service was very good, most of the dishes were coming out fast and the restaurant was super busy in general. We went for the second time with more friends and the experience was very different. Service was average, dishes were coming out late or not at all - we were informed that there weren't any oysters after 30 mins and after we had asked... We have ordered 24 of them. One dish didn't come at all but it was on our bill... I give 4 because all dishes were very tasty and prices were fair. However, the most likely we will choose another restaurant for our third seafood dinner.
This is a very transparent restaurant, with the price of each shrimp displayed accurately. The freshness and quality are outstanding! The service from the staff is also great The seasoning with lemongrass, mint, and homemade chili sauce is also GOOD! If you want to eat seafood in Da Nang, this is the place to go!
